Applications are open for 2021 committee service at the National Association of REALTORS® and the deadline has been extended to June 1. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for REALTORS®, and Virginia REALTORS® even helps out with your travel and lodging expenses (see below for more detailed information).

Serving on a committee provides an outstanding opportunity to apply your knowledge, skills, and passion toward the betterment of our industry. Being appointed to a committee offers meaningful leadership experience with national peers and the chance to play a role in the decision-making process. We strongly encourage Virginia REALTORS® to apply for committee service.

Most NAR committees meet twice per year in person: once at the Legislative Meetings in DC, May 10—15, 2021, and then once at NAR’s annual convention in San Diego, CA, November 12—15, 2021. Between these meetings, most committees will meet periodically by conference call.

Applying to a committee is simple; visit the committee application webpage to get started. Log into your NAR account and refresh your expertise profile. After you submit your application, you will be able to send a unique link to endorsers for them to further describe your qualifications. Applications AND endorsements must be submitted by June 1, 2020.
